恰倫峽谷是一個位在哈薩克恰倫河畔距離阿拉木圖東邊200公里並靠近中國邊界的一個峽谷。 經過千年的風化作用，峽谷呈現出豐富多彩的地層，以及不同大小的形狀。
After walking for a while, we reached to the part of Canyon known as Valley of Castles, for its unusual rock formations, and its length is 3 kilometres with a depth of 100 metres.
再走了一段路後，將會抵達峽谷內知名的Valley of Castles (城堡谷)，一條三公里長100公尺深的岩層。
On the way to Charyn River, you can see many people trying to photograph on the rocks or to use their own way to catch the stunning view of the Canyon.
在到恰倫河路途中，會看到很多人在岩石上面拍照或是用其他的方式去紀錄峽谷的景象。
Actually, I do not remember how much time I spent, but once when I arrived the Charyn River, it was already time for lunch. The river is so blue and cold, and it seems like it's a nice spot for picnicking for people who travel there.
其實我也不記得走了多久了，不過等我走到恰倫河的時候也已經是午餐時間了，河很藍也很冰涼而且那裡也是個很適合野餐的地點。
Well, as I stayed in Almaty for a week, and I basically stayed only in Almaty City, so it would be nice to go somewhere not far with nice views to see and to hike. In the beginning my idea was to go the Shymkent then to Turkestan, however, as it takes around 14 hours by train to go there, Charyn Canyon is just a great place to see, as people also consider it as a small Grand Canyon.
由於我待在阿拉木圖整整一星期，而且基本上就是在市區，所以對我來說能到一個不算太遠但是又有美景可欣賞也可以健行的地方哪是最好不過啦! 剛開始我的目標是放在Shymkent跟Turkestan但是要做14小時的火車真的是太折騰人! 很多人也都把恰倫峽谷視為小型的大峽谷，可算是值得一看的景點。
After I decided to visit this Canyon, I started to find the way to get there. I have checked the Internet, many people booked a private tour to go there. However, I didn't want to spend so much money on this tour (for one person it's 190 USD, and for 2 persons, it's 130 USD each). Once when you get the booking done, you can ask your hotel staff to help to call the agency in order to book the date (Saturday or Sunday) with your names on the list. You need to be there at 0730 coz the bus leaves at 0800. The gathering location is very central located at Baitursynova Street, near Baykonyr Metro Station, you'll see groups of people waiting there.
訂完行程後，可以請飯店人員幫你播電話到旅行社確定日期(周六或周日)，把你的名字放到名單內。車子八點就開了，所以七點半就要到哪裡囉! 集合地點很市中心，就在Baitursynova Street, 靠近地鐵Baykonyr站。到哪裡就會看到一群人跟你一樣在哪裡等車啦!
The way to the Canyon took 5 hours and the way back took 6 as it was raining. The whole trip was long, but the bus pulled over twice for people to go to the toilet and to buy some food and drinks. I took my own food and drinks for lunch in the Canyon, so for me, the stops were to relieve my sore butt cheeks! The only problem was the language, there were no other languages besides Russian, so you'd better ask well when the gathering time is before your start hiking in the Canyon.
I was lucky, coz I met a lovely Spanish girl there, Elena and she understood a little Russian.The trip in the Canyon was great, because of the amazing view and a new company with us. I was glad that I went there, even the time we spent was even more than the time in the Canyon. If you have time and don't want to spend so much money for a private tour, I would suggest you this tour for sure.
到峽谷的去程是五小時，回程因為遇到下雨所以花了六個小時。 整個漫漫長路車子是有停兩個地放讓旅客上廁所跟買食物跟飲料。我自己有準備好我的吃食啦! 所以停車是給我起來伸掌展一下我痠痛的屁股啦! 哪裡就只講俄文! 所以在開始下峽谷前我建議問清楚集合時間!
我超幸運的，我在哪裡遇到了可愛的西班牙女孩Elena，他剛好懂一點俄文。整趟旅程很棒的地方是，我們不只欣賞到美景，也多了新朋友的陪伴。 我很開心我到了哪裡，雖然我的屁股不開心! 還有我坐車的時間比我在峽谷的時間來的還要久! 不過如果你有時間，又不想要花太多錢購買私人行程的話! 真的一定要試試看當地跟團喔!
